One of modern
reggae's most dynamic live performers, SEEFARI has been a fixture on
the reggae scene for many years. He has a reputation for being a unique
artist who appeals to fans of all ages and backgrounds, honing his
skills through countless appearances at concerts, colleges, casinos,
resorts, restaurants and clubs. SEEFARI has headlined dozens of major
reggae festivals across the USA. In recent years he has performed for
hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic reggae fans from Vegas to
Detroit and from Chicago to Kansas City. Sojourner Tre of
Clevelandreggae.com wrote of a recent SEEFARI show with Israel
Vibration "SEEFARI was nothing short of a roots sound power."
SEEFARI
continues to expand his fan base to an international level with rave
reviews and heavy radio airplay from the USA to Europe to the Islands
and beyond. Discriminating music fans around the world have enjoyed
his numerous critically acclaimed recordings and his music has been on
several compilations and in feature films. The continuing growth in
SEEFARI's popularity is due in large part to his energetic performance
style and charismatic stage presence. His reverent, soulful
interpretations of Bob Marley's music earned him a headlining spot on
the Bob Marley Festival Tour ('97, '98, '99, 2002).
SEEFARI's
acclaim as a musical innovator has attracted outstanding musicians to
seek him out. Current and former sidemen have worked with a who's who
of reggae, rock and r&b including Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte, Sugar Minott, Ras Michael, Maxwell, Ginger Baker, Toure Kunda, Roy Ayers,
Sly Dunbar, Dean Frazier and the Firehouse Crew among others. SEEFARI
has worked with musicians from around the world including studio work
with legendary Jamaican producer/songwriter Anthony "Sangie" Davis
(who worked with Bob Marley and Lee Perry). SEEFARI has shared the
stage with many reggae legends including Toots & the Maytals,The
Wailers, Israel Vibration Steel Pulse, The Congos and even dancehall
star Beenie Man. He has been backed by
some of the best reggae bands in the USA including Higher Heights from
New Orleans, Chicago's Gypsi Fari and Native American reggae-rockers
The Wailing Coyotes from Arizona.
With an
ever-growing following as diverse as the international community and a
live show like no other, SEEFARI is poised to pave the way for modern
roots music in the 21st Century. His energetic stage presence and
distinctive vocal style create a unique and exciting concert
experience that always gets the crowd up on its feet. His band flexes
roots, rub-a-dub and dancehall reggae with the ease of seasoned pros.
SEEFARI works the crowd into a frenzy and always leaves them pumped up
and screaming for more! |
